Made from locally sourced cottonwood for the carved back and sides with old-world oil varnish. This bass is set up for easy access to the upper register of the fingerboard. Its sound projects well in a large concert hall and has a consistent quality across all four strings, with a deep resonance that extends to the G-string, i.e. an Italianate sound.
